Symptoms generally develop slowly over several years and the progression of symptoms is often quite different from one person to another due to the diversity of the disease. Although there is no cure, treatment options can include medications, surgeries, physical, occupational, and\/or speech therapy. While Parkinson\u2019s itself is not fatal, disease complications can be serious. Those with PD often report these symptoms as being more disabling than motor symptoms.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Depression<\/li>\n<li>Anxiety<\/li>\n<li>Apathy<\/li>\n<li>Hallucinations\/vision changes<\/li>\n<li>Constipation<\/li>\n<li>Urinary incontinence<\/li>\n<li>Sexual dysfunction<\/li>\n<li>Digestive issues<\/li>\n<li>Sleep disorders<\/li>\n<li>Loss of smell\/taste<\/li>\n<li>Variety of cognitive impairments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Due to the complexity of Parkinson\u2019s disease and its variability from person to person, a complete care team is crucial.
