Hi there! With almost four months and just under 100 Therapy Nuggets posted on Facebook, we’re excited by the success of these little information tid-bits! Our instructors have enjoyed sharing their nuggets with you and we appreciate your interaction by “liking” and commenting.
What’s next for Therapy Nuggets? Well, even more of your involvement… today we’re excited to announce that anyone can now be a Therapy Nugget contributor! This new “Fan Nuggets” program is something we’re very excited about:
- Have a tid-bit of information that other therapists, patients, parents/families, or really anyone, could benefit from? Submit it here!
- We’ll hand pick Fan Nuggets every other day for posting on Facebook. We won’t be able to use every nugget you submit, but we hope to cover a broad range of topics and would love your participation.
- Then just like and comment on those Fan Nuggets you feel are good tid-bits!
Ready to submit your Fan Nugget, you can do it here on our website. You’ll probably want to follow Summit on Facebook to see your nugget in action. If you don’t “do” Facebook, that’s ok – we promise to use your nugget responsibly and we’re sure it’ll be a hit! We do periodically send out nuggets via email so you can also signup for our VIP email lists from the home page.
Leave a comment here if you have any questions that we can help clear up.

For children with special needs utilizing assistive technology, there is a website: A4CWSN.com (also on facebook: a4cwsn) that provides free reviews of apps for ipod touches, iphones & ipads, founded by Gary James (parent of two children with special needs). Instead of wasting money on apps that are not relevant (and possibly expensive, costs adding up), hundreds of app programs are reviewed via video format by Gary James. He is also open to requests for apps not yet featured. The most amazing thing is that Gary is giving away ipads & apps for children throughout North America! Today (7/21/11) he is on his way to Ontario Canada (from Connecticut), to drive up & deliver an ipad to a child/family he has never met. Funds are being donated by developers, families and assorted countries in order to make this happen. It is an amazing event!
great info.
How do I sign up so I can view the videos and is there a cost to view them? Thank you.
Hi Bonnie,
Thank you for your comment. Are you referring to our Online Webcast courses? If so, you can sign up here on our website (just click Live Webcasts at the top). You can search for a topic or just browse by date.
The Online Webcast pricing is the same as our live workshops – the high-quality content is great via webcast and full CE is available! Please contact our Customer Care team if you have any specific questions and they’ll be happy to help you out.
Thanks!
