Home health care has a number of new regulations in 2011 and CMS is providing information to help agencies and staff meet these new rules.

See http://www.cms.gov/center/hha.asp for information on physician Face to Face requirements, including HHABN process should the physician visit not occur in a timely manner.

April 1st marks the start of new therapy requirements and the CMS  website has posted a fact sheet reviewing what is expected on initial assessment, re-assessment at 30 days and reassessment prior to 14th and 20th combined therapy visit count.

      Janice, I am not scheduled to present my seminar -Home Health Care: Advancing Your Skill Set – in Las Vegas. I believe there is a home care based seminar in LV presented by a different instructor. Please check on the Summit web page under Nevada and you can look at the seminar list for Nevada.
